b- found this shirt at the silverlake farmer's market. this is an altered piece from a vintage dress. i love the bold pattern and the reinterpreted shape of an otherwise overwhelming traditional silhouette.
d- i tend to stay away from obvious themes that can be dictated by strong patterns. mixing unexpected pieces with these distinct motifs allow a new context and purpose. just like throwing an abandoned shopping cart into a beautiful garden.
b- vintage earrings, clutch and top, virgin only jeans, forever 21 ring, kate preston heels.
d- patrick robinson for target dress, threadsence ring, urban outfitters purse, seychelles heels.

i dig the high rise denim and top so much! :)

I like the bold pattern making a strong statement, full of life and character. Then again, repeated pattern creating a motif is soft and also kind of pleasing. Isn't it great to have contrasts, and different themes for different contexts of mood?
ReplyDeleteLove the dress!!
