up for a challenge

b- i found this hat the other day and it was love at first sight.  i loved the color, i loved the print, but most of all i love the challenge.  this isn't the easiest piece to rock but i had to give it a shot.  to balance the extremity of the hat i went pretty simple for the rest of it (ok. ok. i had to add a bit of gold... i couldn't help it.) 

 dani and i joked that this is about as minimalist as i get.
